Hello everyone!
Welcome to the English Grammar Corner!

According to the rules of our site, non-English posts are prohibited on the forum, so everyone should use English in their posts.
Your knowledge of English are not very deep? You are not sure that your question is built correctly? You speak not only English but other languages and want to help other users?

If you answered "yes" to at least one of the above questions, then you've come to the right place. English Grammar Corner is a place where you can find someone to ask a question about spelling, the correct order of words in a sentence, the meaning of a word etc.

In the next post will be listed languages (other than English) and the users who speak them and who can be asked for help in a PM.

Can someone explain the rules of grammer easily to me? English is my native language, but I never understood it in school and my spelling is just terrible.

There are many rules of grammar, to be honest. But I think the basis is that the site requires a clean sentence. Example:

jessica like ponnies rabits cookies and frogs but she hates kats

Currently I believe we are requiring the users to use proper punctuation, capitalization, and spelling. The above sentence, typed correctly, would look like this:

Jessica likes ponies, rabbits, cookies, and frogs; but she dislikes cats.

Lucille, if you read this, I suppose if any user has questions about English and how to organize their sentences I can assist. I am used to helping my friend in real life with his grammar.

If need be, I can help with Dutch speaking people.
I'm born un the USA, but lived most of my life in the Netherlands and was raised bilingual.
So if there should arise the need for a Dutch speaking/writing person to help out, I'm willing.

I myself am Dutch as well and though my English may not always be as fluent, I'm always willing to help any people from the Netherlands with basic questions.

I speak Japanese fairly well, and I don't mind helping out anyone that needs help. I also don't mind helping native English speakers with their grammar.

I am Norwegian, but can help Swedes and Danes as well.
