So I just pledged in the Kickstarter (yay me!) and put a couple add-ons with it, and I was wondering how that works. Because there's nowhere on Kickstarter itself to put a note to say which add-ons I want, so how does that go?

Speaking for Kickstarter in general, add-ons are selected after the campaign closes.
You'll be contacted and asked to select which add-ons you set the money aside for at that time.
When Lucy sees this, she can chime in as to whether that will be via messages, a survey, or something like backerkit.

We'll be using Backerkit, so you will receive information after the campaign ends. You'll be able to select your add-ons then.
