Ok, I've been slowly working on coloring a pet(or three) and ran into a few spots that had me scouring the forums and discord to try and find answers before needing to resort to just coming out and asking.

First, i saw in the discord that shading layers can be colored, wonderful! But, what about the opacity? Can that be tweaked any or should stay 100%?
Second, the lineart... I'm used to coloring pets on another site where they actually prefer the lineart to be colored, and not left black. Is coloring the lineart ok, or a nono?
