Aw, delayed cake! That's no fun, Flederfalle! D: I'd never heard of that garash cake before, but I googled it just now, and it certainly looks like something I'd enjoy Is it as tasty as it looks?

I ended up making two birthday cakes once (not for my own birthday). Made one chocolate cake following a new recipe, and I really thought it wouldn't turn out well, it didn't look right before I tossed it in the oven. So I panicked, not wanting to stand there with no cake at all for the birthday person, and went right ahead and made a second one. Then the first one turned out alright after all. That was a fair amount of cake for two people to eat their way through, but hey, luxury problem!

That is indeed a luxury problem Garash cake is very tasty, at least the one (and only) I ever got to try!

Pretzel salad?!

Yes, the bottom(crust) is broken up pretzels, then you put a mixture of cream cheese and whipped cream and layer that over the pretzels, then you pour semi-cooled jello, usually strawberry and sometimes mixed in with pieces of fruit then let it cool and the jello harden. It's absolutely wonderful and my grandma makes it for Thanksgiving almost every year.
