Those of you who've been around for a while will know I used to run lots of events on site, but a new job took me away for a while. I'm back now, and here for fun! A while back, I did a birthday giveaway. So I'm bringing it back for a second time!

I have a birthday recall of when I was rather young....Not necessarily happy, but certainly memorable. So, before my birthday party, I was just in a generally bad mood. Not listening, being stubborn when my grandparents were trying to get me to dress so we could go to the place for my party, etc.... They warned me that if I continued to not get ready, they'd have no choice but to call the party off and I just got more angry (heh) It turned out in the end I stayed home. They gave me one present, which I distinctly remember as being the Mulan Disney movie which I love watching to this day.

I don't actually remember most of my birthdays, and one I wish I didn't remember.
One was good though, mostly because of stuff that had nothing to do with my birthday At that time, I went to the cinema weekly, as in, every wednesday for Sneak Preview. We would not know in advance what movie we would watch, and there was also some games before the movie. New people would say Hi and their name and their profession, you know, just a little who is who. Then they'd have to run around the room a few times, and the fastest one would win a prize - a free ticket to the cinema, valid for any movie in that cinema. Then the moderator duo would ask movie-related questions (e.g reading a movie description and we were to guess which movie it belonged to), and whoever answers right would win a small prize: usually some leftover promotional items from previous movie releases, like cups or stickers or bottle openers, and sometimes a free ticket. When all the prizes were gone, the movie would start.
Now, that one wednesday happened to be my birthday, so I got a free ticket just for being there on my birthday (in addition to getting one from the quiz - double win!)

(Unfortunately, with covid, Sneak Preview lost the whole extra programme around it )
