Howdy folks! As you may have noticed, the staff have been busy little bees this last month! Keeping with this trend, we've got some fresh updates to kick off the month of June! We have a brand new bank feature. We have also automated the Newbie Welcome Wagon so that all new users will get their starter goodies right away and improved the News feature and Index page.
The Bank of Faenaria:
With the new bank you can stash your money away, earn a little interest, and even lock it in a CD to earn even more interest.
• Create as many or as few savings accounts as you like. Each one can be uniquely named, shared among friends, or closed out at any time.
• You can create accounts for WS and DS. However, only WS accounts earn interest.
• WS savings accounts will earn 1% interest per day. The interest amount caps at 1,000 WS.
• CDs (stands for Certificate of Deposit) will provide interest based on the amount of funds and duration of time that they are locked away. (More details below)
• Want to pool funds for a charity or event? Just create a bank account and give your collaborator permission to use it.
• The owner of shared accounts is the only one who can delete or rename. If an account has been shared with you, you can however delete your access to it. There will be no restrictions on withdraw/deposits made to shared accounts.
• A detailed bank log will be kept for all deposits/withdrawals per account, along with a timestamp, and the name of the person making the transaction.
- CD Details -
• WS can be locked into a CD for 1, 3, or 6 months.
• DS cannot be locked into a CD.
• There is a 100,000 WS minimum for all CD types
• 1 Month term yields 10% interest
• 3 Month term yields 20% interest
• 6 Month term yields 40% interest
Newbie Package:
• All new users, upon registering an account, will automatically receive a welcome message in their Inbox.
• Aleah will still be available to provide assistance to new members. All welcome messages are linked directly to her.
• In addition, newbies will also receive 20,000 WS and 5 DS upon registration.
• When a new user creates their first avatar, they will also receive the following starter items: Basic Lips, Basic Eyebrows, Yana Eyes, Basic Jeans, Basic Tee, Basic Flats, and Blanche hair.
Other Updates:
• Users who are currently online will have this icon
next to their username in forum posts.
• Likewise, gender will now display as an icon instead of text beside your username in forum posts. Hover over the icon for a tool tip if you aren't sure what the icon represents. You can change/set your gender here.
• "Recent Pets" now display on the index page.
• "Users Online in the Last 24 Hours" now displays on the forums and index page.
• The News page has joined the inbox and notifications on the info bar as a new icon:
• In addition, there is now a news feed on the index page.
• All posts in Announcements, Monthly Updates, and Development Updates will create a News Notification and automatically show up in the news feed.

Thank you for the newly updates and definitely useful in the near future for any new members with the starter pack. I noticed the online icon yesterday and figured what it was. I'm excited for creating a bank account to store the wishes.
