Howdy folks! Today, I've got a couple big surprises for you all! So, it's a well known and unfortunate fact that Wish Shards are a pain in the neck to earn. This is something we have wanted to rectify for a long time and until recently were unable to do so. Thanks to Indy, we have a brand new feature for everyone to enjoy and to earn WS with!
Research
This feature is tied into the Lore of Faenaria. Clicking through will give you tidbits of information, allowing you to learn about the world and history. Right now, we only have 6 entries (featuring the beautiful character art from Ibbit) to get us started, but we are working on adding more in the coming weeks. The premise of this idea, is that you are reading the notes of a Faenarian scholar by the name of Theodis Eldervale. As you research the information he has provided, you are rewarded with a varying amount of WS - you could get anything between 100-2,000 WS per selection.
That's not all I have for you guys though! I'm proud to announce that Faenaria now has its very own Patreon! By becoming a patron of Faenaria you will receive exclusive correspondence with the staff, some special goodies, a shiny new forum username color/rank, and a stipend of WS. Patreon is a service that gives creators a unique opportunity to connect in a special way with their fanbase. It is similar to Kickstarter in that it allows us to crowdfund, however, Patreon focuses more on the long term. Our desire is to utilize Patreon to cover various monthly expenses for Faenaria. You can check out the pledge tiers and learn more on our Patreon page!

This might be some stupid questions.... I've never used Patreon before, so if you get one tier higher, you also get the lower tier? So it also stacks the higher you go? Sorry about asking this.. ^^;;

Most Patreons operate that way, but not all do. Usually it will state in the description if you get rewards from previous tiers or not! Faenaria's Patreon does "stack," though, so if you get subscribe for $20 a month you get ALL the rewards, not just the ones expressly listed in the Master tier. I'm not sure if the WS stacks, though! @Lucille?

@Belle_Frost @SeaCrest Our patreon does stack rewards. The tier descriptions are detailed. The WS amounts don't stack. For example, if you back for the $10 tier you won't get 15k WS, you will only get the 10k WS. We did take the previous tiers into account, to make sure you're still getting a fair amount of WS per tier.

@Flederfalle Nope! No Discord required, it's just an added perk. The discord channel is really just a place for patrons to hang out with the admins one-on-one. Any polls, posts, etc. will be posted on Patreon (and duplicated on Discord).
