Howdy Faenarians!
weezee and I have some good news to share regarding the hosting!
While I was trying to renew our term with BlueHost for a year we ran into a small issue of space. It seems that because we're over our file limit BlueHost wouldn't allow us to keep using the same plan and wanted us to upgrade. The issue there wasn't just cost, but we were already right up against that new file limit and knew it wouldn't take us long at all to break through it. This lead us to looking at other options, including VPS hosting (which has a file limit in the millions instead of thousands) and companies that offer larger limits. Most options (like unmanaged VPS) had downsides or were too expensive for where we are right now...
Ultimately, we settled on DreamHost, which claims to have unlimited file limits (as long as you aren't pirating anime or something like that). They had a deal running so we were able to get 3 years of hosting for a lower price than renewing for one year with BlueHost!
What does changing hosts mean? Well, it means some back end work for weezee and I. We'll have to move our files over to the new host which is really just time consuming. Once that's done, it's just a matter of pointing the domain to the new files. With any luck, we'll get this all finished over the weekend. We are not expecting there to be any downtime for the site. However, there might be some when the domain switches so we will give a heads up via this thread and announcements on social media and Discord.
What are we going to do with the extra funds? We're still deciding. We'll be splitting it between some art assets and possibly some programming. weezee and I are getting some numbers to help us decide and then we'll let everyone know!

You need to be patient. Kitsune is on the list to be done, but I'm waiting for someone else to do the lines (someone that's not part of this site). Asking over and over again for it (or something else) will not make it happen quicker. Sorry.

I would like to post a Bug Report but I cannot because I cannot create a new thread. All I get is a black page (though I'm using the light theme) with the header part until the "Whoo!" and then nothing. The browser console doesn't show anything so I don't think it's my browser (old style Firefox)?
