General Rules
The following rules and restrictions apply to all custom items unless otherwise noted.

• No line edits of any kind are permitted. All design layers must be clipped to the base and cannot exceed the lines.
An exception is made for baby pets with background or foreground elements. These elements are optional and can be hidden at the user's discretion. (example: baby ryu's clouds are optional) Adult pets are NOT eligible for this exception.
• Exclusive and Retired items are not eligible for Wish or Dream Scrolls. Some other restrictions apply as well, please see lists below.
• Only scrolls received as part of an official site event will be eligible to be colored by staff. This is meant to minimize the strain on our small art team. We are working to hire more colorists in order to lift this restriction.
• When redeeming a prize, please make sure to leave a note with the form stating such to avoid any confusion.
• Adult pets must be 300x300 pixels in size.
• Custom colored avatar items must be 300x425 pixels in size.
• All site image files must be saved in PNG format.
• Genes found in the Gene Codex are premade markings that are free to use for all your pet creation needs here on Faenaria. It is our intention for most genes to be compatible with all common and rare pets (however we are behind on this so please be aware of that).


Avatar Designs
To submit a Custom Avatar Design, you will need to have one of the following tickets:

Plain Scroll - Make a custom colored Common baby pet for your avatar.
Rare Scroll - Make a custom colored Rare baby pet for your avatar.
Unique Scroll - Make a custom colored Exclusive baby pet for your avatar.
Ominous Scroll - Make a custom colored Dire baby pet for your avatar.
Ancient Scroll - Make a custom colored Legendary baby pet for your avatar.
Wish Scroll - Make a custom colored avatar item.
Dream Scroll - Make a custom colored avatar set design.
Legacy Scroll - Make a custom colored design of your favorite race.

Pet Creation
To create a custom pet you will need one of the following items.

Amber Token - Create a custom Common genus.
Jade Token - Create a custom Rare genus.
Ominous Token - Create a custom Dire genus.
Butterfly Essence - Create a custom Butterfly Pony.
Fairytale Essence - Create a custom Prince or Princess Pony.
Floral Essence - Create a custom Floral Unicorn.
Winter Essence - Create a custom Winter Pony.
Vintage Essence - Create a custom Vintage Unicorn.
Cottontail Essence - Create a custom Cottontail Mouse for your Snuggery & Wardrobe!
Festive Essence - Create a custom Festive Mouse for your Snuggery & Wardrobe!
Hallowed Essence - Create a custom Hallowed Mouse for your Snuggery & Wardrobe!
Sweetheart Essence - Create a custom Sweetheart Mouse for your Snuggery & Wardrobe!
Daydream Relic - Create a custom Daydream Pony.
Fossilized Relic - Create a custom Prehistoric genus.
Primordial Relic - Create a custom Elemental Equine genus.
Umbra Talisman - Create a custom Majouneko or Sianach
Lotus Talisman - Create a custom Crane or Nian

All of these are for the adult versions, when done they will go into your Snuggery. These are not for your avatar!

Breeding Rules
• Gender and genus is your choice, however, genus must be the same as one of the parents (unless you use a Morph Elixir).
• Number of babies depend on if the pair is mated and how many Brood Elixirs you apply to the breeding.
• Offspring must have the genes of their parents (unless you use a Tattoo Elixir).
• The genes on the offspring must be a mix of both parents, 50/50 is ideal, but we won't reject an offspring if it's 25/75.
• Offspring colors must be that of their parents (unless you use a Prism Elixir), but you can change the placement of those colors.


Pet Breeding
To breed your pets you will need the following item.

Tousanryu’s Favor - Allows you to breed two common pets.

If you want to breed something other than two common pets you'll need one (or two depending on what you're wanting to breed) of these upgrades:

Rare Tonic - Upgrade breeding to include one rare parent.
Lucent Tonic - Upgrade breeding to include one limited parent. These can only breed with other limited so you'll need two.
Ominous Tonic - Upgrade breeding to include one dire parent.
Ancient Tonic - Upgrade breeding to include one legendary parent.
Unique Tonic - Upgrade breeding to include one exclusive parent.

You can enhance your breedings with these addons:

Diamond Ring - Allows you to mate two pets of any genus together. Guarantees 1 extra offspring per breeding.
Broken Ring - Allows you to un-mate two pets of any genus that have been mated together.
Morph Elixir - Ignore parents genus and choose another genus instead. Restricted by parent rarity.
Prism Elixir - Adds 1 color not present on either parent. Limit 2 per breeding.
Tattoo Elixir - Adds 1 gene not present on either parent. Limit 2 per breeding.
Brood Elixir - Adds 1 extra offspring. Limit 2 per breeding.
