Welcome, Faenarians, to our monthly avatar contest!

We've decided to call the contest FAD, but we hope it becomes much more than that! It may change a bit from month to month (or maybe sooner, who knows what interest we may get) just like fads do, but hey, it's boring being the same all the time, right? Anyway, I hope this is something you all will enjoy just like we will seeing all your creativity.

• Follow all TOS and site rules.
• Submit avatar designs using our Fae Avatars (for more detail on the FA, read the FAQ)
• Please, make a new post if you add more entries and I have updated, I don't want to miss any entries.
• You can only join from your main account, no mules or ninjas.
• There is a maximum of 5 avatar entries per person!
• No CYO items (custom items you made or were made for you by a site artist), please.
• Entries will be accepted from now until Feb 26th @ 5:00PM FaeTime. (that's the time on the clock in the bar at the top).
• Winner will be announced on March 1st!
• Have fun!


• You do not need to own the items to join, just use the Market dressing system.
We do know, however, that centaur doesn't work properly in this system and will not count against you if that is something you use.
• Please, host your images on postimages.org or another site that allows you to post an image on another site.
• Staff, and the previous winner will be judging this avatar contest.
• If you win, you can not participate in the following month's contest.


First place gets:
• 25,000 WS.
• 10 DS.
• CYO FA Birthday Sash that will say "FAD WINNER" on it.
• The opportunity to judge the following contest along with the staff.
• Have their winning avatar placed on the main page until the following month.

Participants get:
• 2,000 WS.

IF we get enough interest, we'll give a runner up prize... and maybe more!

Hi, I'd like to participate but I have a question--I saw from last month's thread that this one may not have a theme. Is that correct? Thanks!

Yes, there is no theme in this one, that's why there isn't one listed. ^^

I have also found a site (as Lucy told me that uploading offsite was a problem) that allows you to upload from a url (so you could just use the preview link) and you don't have to be a member to do so! So if that is what makes you not join this contest then, please, check it out! postimages.org

Can we re-enter any designs we did for earlier contests if they didn't win? Or do we need to do a completely new one that hasn't been entered at all?

I don't see why not? As long as it's not won before and you don't enter more than 5, you should be good.

This one has Gaia, goddess of the earth vibes, though I'm also getting Demeter as well


I really enjoyed wearing this one during October. It's based off a pumpkin and she's carrying a lantern to help guide lost souls in the fog.
