Welcome, Faenarians, to our monthly avatar contest!

We've decided to call the contest FAD, but we hope it becomes much more than that! It may change a bit from month to month (or maybe sooner, who knows what interest we may get) just like fads do, but hey, it's boring being the same all the time, right? Anyway, I hope this is something you all will enjoy just like we will seeing all your creativity.

• Follow all TOS and site rules.
• Submit avatar designs using our Fae Avatars (for more detail on the FA, read the FAQ)
• Please, make a new post if you add more entries and I have updated, I don't want to miss any entries.
• You can only join from your main account, no mules or ninjas.
• There is a maximum of 3 avatar entries per person! For this month.... and maybe a few more... no limit!
• No CYO items (custom items you made or were made for you by a site artist), please.
• Preview only items are allowed, as everyone can use the Market system to use those.
• Entries will be accepted from now until Oct 28th @ 8:00PM FaeTime. (that's the time on the clock in the bar at the top).
• Winner will be announced on Nov 1st!
• Have fun!


• You do not need to own the items to join, just use the Market dressing system.
• Please, host your images on postimages.org or another site that allows you to post an image on another site.
• Staff, and the previous winner will be judging this avatar contest.
• If you win first place, you can not participate in the following month's contest.
• Avatars can be entered from previous rounds if they did not place at all.


First place gets:
• 30,000 WS.
• 10 DS.
• Your choice of one of the following: Floral Essence, Butterfly Essence, Winter Essence, Fairytale Essence, Vintage Essence, Ominous Token, Fossilized Relic, or Primordial Relic.
• The opportunity to judge the following contest along with staff.
• Have their winning avatar placed on the main page until the following month.

Participants get:
• 5,000 WS.

If there are enough entries for more places....

Second place gets:
• 15,000 WS
• 1 DS

Third places gets:
• 10,000 WS

and maybe more!

Let's see ... November is Thanksgiving in some parts of the world, yes? Any other holidays one can design for?

Well, no entry for me, so, good luck everyone!

For anyone who celebrates any of the sabbats on astrological dates, Samhain falls this year on Nov 7th other than that and Thanksgiving though I can't think of any other Nov holidays. LIke Weezee said though, could just do fall in general or even late fall, or general harvest theme and ext.

Going with NaNoWriMo instead. Have protagonist #1 (still unnamed) with some symbols of his current state in the story as it has progressed in my mind so far:

Wasn't sure if I'd have time this month to come up with something but I made time to give my brain a break from stressful stuff and do something I enjoy! Here is my entry:

A pumpkin girl. You could say it's a Thanksgiving play.

I think I'll also enter my current snake lady, who is enjoying an unusually warm day at her home. Only her pets seem to feel the need for some comforting.
