Rules & Information:
• Follow all TOS and site rules.
• Please, make a new post if you add more entries and I have updated, I don't want to miss any entries.
• You can only join from your main account, no mules or ninjas.
• Must be at least a few sentences long.
• Can not be pages long, a paragraph or so is enough.
• You can enter for each genus or only 1 or 2 genera.
• You can enter multiple per genus, but realize that we may smoosh them together if we so see fit.
• Staff are allowed to participate as Rhowyn and I are the only judges.
• Entries will be accepted until we have winners for each genera. If it's taken longer than a month, once there is at least 1 winner.
• Earliest entries will be closed is September 28th @ 8PM FaeTime. (the time on the bar under the dragon at the top)

Born in the Shanlang Desert on the brightest day of the year,
the magical chimera incorporate only the very best traits of the
animals they meet in their travels. Particularly fond of traits that offer
protection, it is not uncommon to come across a horned, fire breathing,
fanged and clawed animal that can run fast or blend in with its environment.
Some young Chimera choose bright flashy colors and stripes but most, not all,
outgrow the trend when they become adults.
It is also not uncommon to see Elves and Chimera together as their magics
compliment each other.

It is said, the Cockatrice is born when a toad sits on an abandoned chicken egg.
The magic lingering in some small pockets throughout Faenaria seeps into the chicken's egg
giving rise to one of the most feared magical creatures. With the upper head of a chicken and the tail
of a serpent the Cockatrice has abilities that can kill a person in an instant. From a single look in its eyes
to feeling it's breath on your skin, death is certain. The creature itself is a shy animal that prefers to avoid contact
with others for this very reason.

whispered tales in the dark...
tell of a powerful wizard who is immune to its powers, or so the rumors say.

No one is quite sure where the Qilin come from, their appearance is both a blessing and a curse. They appear either when a great sage is born or has died. They come in all shapes and sizes but the most common have horns, dragon heads, and scales with the four-legged body of an ox. Above all else Qilin prize knowledge highly and that is the reason many believe they appear for the greatest of the sages.

Qilins seem to be solitary creatures, dedicating their life to collecting knowledge of all sorts, rarily sharing it with ones they find worthy or collecting the valuable stories so to not let them perish. This became a reason for a common belief that an appearance of a Qilin signifies an arrival or passing of a great sage.
They possess a muscular body similar to this of an ox, and a dragon head with two twisted horns. Qilins have magic abilities, helping them to merge with surroundings and stay unnoticed by most, as by their opinion one should not intervene but to observe.

This is like a book of empty pages. You know you should start writing but the blankness of the page just overwhelms you.
