The Story Behind Chuck:
Back in the days of UniFaction, when DDW had yet to reach its first year, there was a debate going around that I was incapable of making an ugly pony - even if I tried - and so one day in a Join.Me session I attempted to make a very ugly pony. Personally, I think I succeeded, but some people believe even Chuck is pretty in his own right. Pyro being chief among his 'followers', I went ahead and gifted the hideous creature to her - I'm pretty sure he's now her favorite pony.
He was later joined by a mate, Hurlene...
...and together (during staff breeding tests), the pair produced an equally horrendous filly; Pukini...
Since then he's become well known and even won a contest for Ugliest Pony! In the future, I'm sure we'll (unfortunately!) be seeing more of Mr. Chuck and his hideous spawn!

(And yes, we ran some breeding tests on the old zetaboards - Pyro naturally picked Chuck and Hurlene)

lol, I'm glad that when we make ponies we can put together a palette. Speaking of which, how are the colors submitted? Or if you do something like Artist's Choice do they also pick the colors? I totally don't need any eye smarting ponies because then I can't look at them, like these three. ^^;

i cant wait to see them on the new ponies some of the colors may not be my favorites but i like how bright they are and it is a huge change from some of the more somber or just plain dull palettes a lot of us are complaining about only being able to find in other threads... if there were more color palettes like these to be found in other places we would have more beauties like Hibiscus running around.

I didn't use a palette for Chuck. It was random icky colors I mashed together. Hurlene however I did use a palette for, it was one Pyro made specifically for her.
