i believe xmas breeding starts on midnight at the start of the 19th, and goes all the way to midnight (11:50 p.m.) on the 25th. and there'll be whatever game or whatnot the cave has too those days.
and this year's new dragon will be available starting the 25th through and including the 27th, at least according to the wiki.
why the new thread, if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you for the information! As weezee said, while we were moving stuff around in the forums, Rhowyn asked in the staff chat if someone else could post a new DC thread and keep it updated with user scrolls, news, etc.! We removed most of the old Other Site threads, so if there's one missing, we're encouraging currently active users to go ahead and start new ones, since not everyone is active still

Especially around the holidays...I'd intended to get many more reds since Halloween but I think I've fallen a bit short of my goal. Still should have plenty of time to get the eggs I need though, since we're limited to two CBs per breed per scroll!

I'm right there with you guys in collecting more pinks and reds. I like to keep those if I come across any while stalking the cave, they're so convenient to have! Keeping an eye out for aeons too, but as they're much rarer I don't see those around much

Don't forget Whites (for their Ward BSA.) Usually, you won't need many of them, but a dozen or so would be good in case of sickness events like very busy hatcheries during holiday weeks.

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about whites! I have lots of those too, grabbed many of them before they even had a BSA. They are another of my pure lineages.
I have white, red, and black pure lineages up to at least 4gen, the reds and blacks are farther than whites, cuz I don't seem to find any of those in the AC. I grabbed a couple PB (purebred) blacks and reds at like 4gen or higher from the AC so that helped in my getting to like 5 or 6 gen PB. I plan on a checker (black and white) lineage too at some point, just never got there.

I have so many whites, I'm not actually sure why or how. I don't remember collecting them but I have a ton of CB Whites, so I guess at some point I decided I wanted to have a bunch
I have three CB eggs I need to catch, plus the new ones for this year, and I need frozen hatchlings of all the holiday ones! I've made myself a little cheat sheet of the descriptions I need CBs of so I don't waste time trying to grab ones that I'm full up on...hopefully, anyway lol

I went ahead with breeding my 2019 holiday dragons, so I could easily get the eggs I needed for frozen hatchies without needing to search for them. But apart from those, I don't have any plans for the rest of my holiday dragons. If anyone needs offspring from any of those, just say the word
