yah. ginger ale is flavoured carbonated water. ginger beer is brewed and fermented.

Good Monday morning everyone. How was everyone's weekend? I had a nice dinner with my daughter last night.

Ginger beer is sooooo yummy. It's got more spice to it than ginger ale and for me helps a tummy ache a lot quicker.

My weekend was full of video gaming and chips with dip.

Video gaming and chips with dip sounds wonderful!! I attended my crochet/knit group on Saturday, and on Sunday sang with the choir, watched the Packers win, and then had dinner with my daughter.

I would love to be part of a crochet/knit group! I am so bad at making time to finish my crochet. I've got at least 3 or so projects in various stages of in process and at least 4 waiting to be started.

Yeah I'm working on what we call a lapgan. It's a lap afghan for someone in a wheelchair. Right now it's just a big square, idk how I'm going to finish it.

I've made those before. One of my old jobs had a mass donation of them. Where a chunk of us made some and sent them to a local old folks home. That stated, the one thing they almost yelled at us was no fringe on the ends. No matter how much some people wanted it. So we all finished with pretty much a basic single stitch around the edges to keep it secure and make it look finished. Although one woman did 4 rows of single and it finished really pretty instead of just the one. Mind you she did double stitch for the rest of the lapghan so if really gave it a final look and made it more durable around the edges in case it got too close to the wheels.

I took a quiz for my Software Engineering class and got 46/50, so I'm thrilled! I get back into working out again. It's been like a week and a half since I did weight lifting and I miss is. Other than that, I'm just happy to not have work today. LOL!
