The staff and I recently reviewed the breeding system and determined that it was a more complicated than it really needed to be, so we made some changes to simplify the process. We still intend to make it an automated feature, but have yet to secure a new programmer since Indy has continued to be unavailable. However, these changes will make the automated version easier to navigate and use, so that's an upside!

First off, we've done some renaming to a lot of our existing items. All of the Tickets have now become Scrolls. They function the same way, but we have hopefully made them a little easier to figure out and remember. No more random colors to distinguish type! Yay!

As a note: All of the pre-existing items were updated, not recreated, so if you had one before the changes it will still be in your inventory. Except now with a new name and shiny new icon artwork by DigitalGarden.


As of this update, breeding will no longer be based on predictions. This mechanic is being removed as we feel it over-complicated the process with little to no benefit. We have also simplified and broken up the addons into upgrades, called Tonics, and addons called Elixirs. There is now one basic item used to initiate all breedings, which is then added to or upgraded as the user desires. Mating items refers to the items used to mate or unmate individual pets.

Again, we reused the existing items so if you had them in your inventory before, you still have them, but they may now function differently so please read the descriptions!

We have yet to fully update our breeding rules and other information, so please bear with us as we work on that over the next week.




Let me answer that with another question... Have you ever wondered who our beautiful, purple and blue dragon is? We did too and so we created a story and purpose for our gorgeous mascot! (he probably wouldn't like being called a mascot though haha)

His name is Tousanryu, the Father Dragon and for now that's really all I'm going to say about him. His entry will soon be added to the Compendium alongside our next batch of lore. Oh it's so hard not to babble on, I'm quite excited! Soon though, his role in the history of Faenaria will be revealed!


Sorry, not quiiiite finished! We have also been updating our pet creation items as well, though this so far has just been done in name. We intend for DigitalGarden to update the rest of our icons over the next couple months in order to have a cohesive theme for each type. Since this isn't finished, I really only have a couple name changes to clue everyone into and of course wanted to show off the newest items for Relics!

Not all items are pet-related! Granted, most of them are, but the Legacy, Wish, and Dream Scrolls are not.

I wasn't on my computer when I saw Kiwiana's reply so I didn't answer, and then I forgot to when I got on my pc. Anywho, none of the scrolls are technically pet related, yes, they are baby pets, but baby pets are avatar items. Just like the baby pets are under Avatar. There is no right place to put inventory but in market. It isn't completely important, but that is to add on to SeaCrest's answer.

You're most welcome. This way may take a little getting used to if you've bred the other way, but in the long run I actually think it's more streamlined, and you don't have to wait for a prediction!
