As you are walking along, lost in the deep forest, a quirky village suddenly comes into view. Alarms starts screaming inside of you to run away but then a slow, graceful motion in the corner of your eye catches your attention. A pale figure comes into view, gliding by as if the ground doesn't exist. She turns her head your way, long pallid locks flowing in the cool night air. She offers you a charming smile and beckons you closer with a single, translucent finger. Her lips move and a haunting serenade echos in the distance. Every instinct in you shifts from fleeing immediately to following this mesmerizing mass of vaporous mist...


After following the specter and her hypnotizing serenade, you enter the boundaries of the questionable village you spied in the distance. Her ghostly figure dissipates into the air as if she never existed, snapping you back to your senses. Within this village you spy 5 peculiar houses that seem to advertise some enticing gifts. A conveniently placed sign grants you some direction on what you should do:

"Come dear guests and visit each abode for the next 10 days to gain fabulous treats! (Remember that each dweller has a life outside of their abode so it may take them a bit to answer your knock, but they will!)

Beware though! A mischievous haunt roams these peaceful streets and may strike at any moment, so gather your treats with fair warning."

First and foremost, HAVE FUN! We're all so excited for this and we hope you will love it!
Second, be sure to read each thread as there may be specific things asked of you to claim your gifts.
Third, this even runs through the 1st of Nov., but we are allowing for you to claim Oct. 31s gift on the first as well, so don't worry if you can't join in on Halloween.
Fourth, post every day in each thread if you want all the gifts!
However, don't worry if you miss a day all the pets/items will eventually be available to buy, aside from a few tricks which are event exclusive!
Tricks will be distributed randomly, but for those who participate in the event regularly, all tricks will be delivered.
Treats will be distributed according to the server time stamp of your "claiming" post. Please be aware of what time it is based on the server clock centered just beneath the dragon header image.

In addition to the tricks and treats that are presented throughout this event, a special raffle will be housed! All you need to do is participate each day in at least one of the Halloween event threads to claim your ticket each day. A maximum of 10 tickets can be claimed during this event and can be tracked here. If you feel that your entry for that day may have been missed, please contact Nimue via PM with a link to your qualifying post and she will promptly Oooooo over it. She may even fix it.

Typical. I leave on the 22nd to visit a grave and find out that grave goods were to be had elsewhere.
(Lotsa ghosts from the past but none were singing, luckily!)

late-to-the-party Kiwi is even later than she wanted, well hopefully next year I can participate from the beginning^^ For some days I looked every day to see if it started after the very first teaser and then I was busy and missed the start. Perhaps if we knew the starting day I could make a huge mark in my calendar then lol There is too much Halloween going on everywhere. *on to checking the other threads*

Is there a schedule for the event-to-shops goodie transition? I'd like to purchase those skirts
