Best decision I ever made was being knocked out for wisdom tooth removal. of course my family is financially privileged enough we had that option. And I got lucky with surgeon choice apparently because other than a minor crack in one of my front teeth I really don't think was there before there have been no side effects and other from the anticipated pain my face skipped the horrible bruised balloon stage. I did have to cut my stitches out though So that was gross. They were those self dissolving ones and about 2-3 days after the teeth came out my gums decided those stitches did not in fact need to be where they had been put and basically just removed themselves but stuck enough to stab my cheeks. I lasted about 3 hours, told my mother they were driving me nuts, she told me to cut them thanks mom, (hey anything to make the stabbing stop)

I took Advair for a few years, my teeth will all be pulled in about two years give or take. (Ever want to see a dentist get pissed, tell them you took Advair 8 years ago before the FDA made them change their ingredients and side effects warnings.)

Wow! I am so sorry about that, I think I just drink too much diet Coke, all the acid is eroding my teeth.

I loath going to the dentist thanks to a terrible experience I had as a kid, getting fillings done. When I say, "I can feel the drill pressure," the correct answer is not, "No you can't." I shoulda bit her, but the aforementioned drill in my mouth saved her stupid fingers.

Ooh how horrible Lucille, she said that?? What a terrible way to respond to the situation, especially to a child! You should have definitely bit her xD

My dentist almost "drowned" me as a kid once, he forgot to turn on the suction device that drains the water, as a result; my mouth filled with water, and closed up my throat, I started spurting water and that's when he realized he forgot to turn it on. He was too busy talking to my parents to realize what was going on, and he even laughed about it!!

Luckily I don't scare very easily, so I am not traumatized or anything like that. But if stuff like that happens with children, they don't easily forget.

I was able to have a good experience with my own Wisdom Teeth, my grandparents took me to someone who ONLY did wisdom teeth so they were experts and they put me under. Apparently I was so out of it afterwards they had to take me out to the car in a wheel chair lol.

I myself have never had my wisdom teeth removed, they are still in my mouth though. They grow to the side instead, kinda on top of my normal teeth, because my mouth is so small. But my dentist doesn't see a problem with so I don't either. They dont hurt anymore either. They used to when they grew out. I only need to be good with brushing with my electrical tooth brush, and try to reach the weird places so I don't get a hole in a stupid place. I'm so lucky I dont like the taste of any bubbly drinks with carbonic acid, or drinks with too much sugar in them. Gives a weird, not pleasant, taste in my mouth.

Mine stops the minute he thinks you can feel anything. Which is good because meds don't work well on me anymore so about an hour after the shot he has to give me two more in the middle of pulling. Last time he gave me four to reach a nerve we both didn't consider to be a problem until the tooth fell apart and he had to do a bit more work to get it out. But my dentist from childhood told me you couldn't be allergic to fluoride, this one is like," Oh yeah, definitely, I have tons of patients who can't have it." So its a hit miss thing sadly.

Get to work! You have your choice of dusting implements including this feather duster, this swiffer, and this small but very motivated baby dragon!

I like to dust with wet napkins, the dust wont fly around everywhere for me then.

It depends on how the baby dragon is doing the dusting. Does the dragon lick the dust away or burn it off?
