Phew, clawed my way across the 40k line! This is thoroughly painful, I am definitely dropping this utter garbage the moment I cross 50k, and dancing happily over to December preparations

Very happy with 40k though! Had to take some time to get the last 1k in, before getting started on other tasks, and making the most of the puppy naptime Unlike you Rhowyn, I don't have surgery myself the 22nd (good luck!!), but I do have to spend the whole day driving to a different vet with little Charlie, because he needs two teeth pulled and they don't have time to do it locally until January. Bah! I'd love to get to 50k before that, but whether I can muster the motivation to write close to 3k a day when the process gives me zero joy ... We'll see!

i finished last night with 43525 words, and I'm almost done too.

I had a pretty rubbish day, some side effects from a new medication I was given yesterday came sneaking up on me, so I've very much wanted to just crawl into bed and stay there. Somehow still managed to write 4k words though, super pleased with myself for that, so I'm still on track for passing the finish line on Tuesday!

yesterday i got up to 44800 and finished the story. now I'm going back through and fleshing things out, and adding words, and hopefully i can find enough words for more than the 50K!

Yeah, real life is throwing curve balls ( aka unexcepted problems) and annoying me this month. I did get a little more out a few days ago. I know it will probably require some overnighters if I can stay awake to work on it. Maybe today, after cleaning a room, I might be able to find a gap before the exercise class later this evening. Another curveball was asked to do another room too. You know it's hard to say no to family sometimes since they might get mad, and I still need to figure out some other issues.
