Not bad! Been cleaning my room out so a bit dusty and tired but it badly needs it—I've let all kinds of junk pile up for nearly ten years OTL

In case anybody's been wondering why I've been so quiet—I've been clearing out my room, which has about 10 years of accumulated junk (and dust) to try and get myself into a better place mentally when it comes to being (and staying) organized & working productively in my room, since...that's the only place I have to do work lol. I've been trying to do art but by the end of the day I've been super uninspired, and also tired. Hopefully I can get some art done in the next week, because I owe a lot of stuff OTL

My room is looking much better, but it's still a lot of mess that needs organizing. I need more boxes, probably. Alllllll the boxes!

I can relate to this! We finally got rid of box city after we moved, and everything starts feeling like we can actually live in our house. However, now we have a ton of creates and bins of STUFF that we need to sort and organize. Honestly, we have so much extra it's overwhelming. Like, my kiddo is 11 and I still have all his baby stuff. I know in my head I need to let it go, but I don't seem to be able to do so. It's like letting go of his baby stuff is letting go of hope for more little kiddos.

Anyways, best wishes for continuing your cleaning, decluttering, and organizing.

It took us MONTHS! Months! Like, almost 6 months, to get rid of box city. Which seems like it mostly became bin city. 🙄

I've been in such an art slump, all I've been doing are pixel adopts with pre-templated markings that just need coloring OTL I signed up for a holiday art exchange and I gotta do that too...

Also an exam.

The art slump has me caged over here. Ever since I got sick at the beginning of October, I haven't found the desire to create that I had before. I think I'm going to try doing a couple simple pieces for fun. Maybe that will help me get back on track...😕

Nope, no plans, and yes, I have to work. Right now, even doing anything even after my birthday is on hold. My mom had to get a covid test, so we're kinda "waiting". LOL We're hoping it's all good (I believe it is, but what do I know?), and one thing she said to me this morning is "I hope I'm better before your birthday so I can get you something!" I'm like, that's the last thing on my mind.
