I managed to hatch all of my bred ones - luckily, I had bred them just 2 days prior but now I'm not only egglocked but also hatchielocked

I should give up one of the eggs I picked up to make room for one of the new releases (I currently have three of the dull ones), but I'm loathe to let it go because I see that egg so rarely, and I need to unlock the adult in my encyclopedia!

You can also unlock them by clicking other people's adults! 5 clicks count as much as raising 1.

Oh, is that how many it is? I knew that, I just didn't know how many it required! I still like to have my own CB dragons of each breed, though (a...monumental quest, given that I'm never lucky enough or fast enough to snag rares like Golds, chickens, etc. lol), so I'm still waffling

In the meantime, maybe I'll do some investigating on some of the linked scrolls!

I actually managed to get a lot of the adults (and even egg/hatchlings) unlocked through the scrolls linked. The only ones I need now are the hatchlings of the holiday ones, and very few others. So it's totally possible!

If you can breed some pretty nice eggs you can always trade up and end up getting those rare ones you want. That's how I got a lot of mine (not the golds/silvers) but some of the others I could not manage to get. Still trying to get that last Zyumorph. I have 2 pairs of all but the yellow one, that one seems to be the rarest CB wise of the Zyus. *flails*

Once you have unlocked the eggs in the Encyclopedia for a given breed, they can be purchased at the Market for shards. Those shards can be earned (max. 100 a week) by regular site activity such a breeding, hatching, raising ... It takes a while, but it's doable - I got a CB Gold from the Market that way.

Getting an egg from the cave: +5 shards
Hatching an egg: +3 shards
Growing up a hatchling: +3 shards
Breeding an egg: +2 shards
- Breeding a multi-clutch e.g. with Celestials will only give shards for one egg (so 2 shards total, no matter how many in the clutch)
- Breeding directly to the AP also gives 2 shards
Getting an egg from the AP: +1 shard (even if you drop it back afterwards)

These huge releases stress me out big time. I collect two adult CB pairs of each type, and I love being able to snatch up those right away when they are released. With this many new eggs though, I naturally don't have the space I need to get all my CB pairs right away, so instead I start worrying that the eggs will be rare and vanish from the cave before I manage to hatch my first batch D: I got at least one of each type from the cave though, two of some. I decided to let the hybrids wait for the moment, make the CB ones a priority while they are definitely around.

I have one of each other than the tiny one and the hidden one... so once I get those, I'll have no room... sadly, or I would totally take it ...
