I just had the shocking good luck of a) grabbing a Paper egg from the cave and b) managing to trade for one!!

TBH I need to look up how you get them, I've completely forgotten. Are they a year-round ultra rare drop in the cave or were they attached to a specific event?

They were first released in December after the Yule bucks, but now are available in the Forest but with a very low drop rate. So I would assume, yes, like a very rare. I have seen a few... so good luck with that. I also think they are considered frozen as soon as you grab, so maybe even be able to get one while locked? I don't know.

You need to have eggspace available on your scroll to pick it up, but it automagically freezes upon reaching your scroll so the space will be immediately free again.

That sounds exactly like things there with me! I quit for quite awhile only grabbing the holidays, but then I came back and have been playing for awhile now. It's fun again, I think because I'm having to catch up. Not sure if it will still be when I am all caught up, tho.
