I'm so grateful to Royal for picking up so much slack around here. He's been a fantabulous asset and friend to me and the site, I can't express enough that so much of the recent improvements are because of him. Thanks for keeping things (and me) going, man, you're the best!!

Alright, that's enough mushy stuff....lol

I definitely owe everyone an update about the general state of the site. It's true that we're trying to get as much of the Kickstarter rewards out as possible. I must apologize for the coding still not being released. It seems that Paul has been having some health issues and has not been able to work. The last I heard he was going to come back, however, he's gone silent again. (on all his clients) Giving him the benefit of the doubt, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, I'd hate to get upset at him and find out he really is going through some serious RL storms.

In the meantime, I'm trying to come up with a direction for this site and community that is true to our past, my own interests/desires, and what our fanbase has been expecting. I've had some ideas and inspiration that has lead me to believe the site would be best served with another face lift, some intensive world building, and focus on the avatars. Pets will still be featured, but won't be their own separate feature. For the time being (until we can get the programming for something different) they will be released as "mini pets", allowing users to equip them with their avatars. I will try this weekend to give a more thorough idea of what this means and perhaps even release some special pets.

As such, we will be hosting a Color Your Own event to launch the "new" feature and I will soon be presenting a more cohesive plan for the future. I just started a new job this week and I'm extra tired from getting back into the swing of mornings (evil, evil mornings). Once I get my schedule better set, I will also resume streaming, and will focus on *drumroll* an avatar overhaul! We'll be getting new bases and items as well as including the pets in rotation. So stick with me here folks, hopefully things will be picking up soon!!

Hey all! Royal again! A little late on these updates (as I went on a hiatus just about the time I was going to post them), but here's what we've done so far since the last update!
Completed Updates
-Backer Badges are up! These now appear under "Custom Title" on your profiles and under your username in the forums! Thank you to everyone who backed the Kickstarter at this level!
-Backer title and username color is now live! Everyone who donated to the Kickstarter got this as an option, and we're so happy to have it working now! Such a lovely shade of green!
-In addition to the new backer color, Mods now have a bit more of a vibrant blue, and all members now default to a lime green!
-The dress from the Spring Jubilee, the Jubilee Vineyard Gown, was sent to the winners of the Jubilee scratch cards! If you weren't able win one this year, don't worry! It will be available in the Market at the Jade Emporium next Spring as a seasonal item, so be on the lookout for that!
Upcoming Updates
-The Witchy FA set is going to be sent out to all those who backed the "Witchy Woman" tier, or any of the tiers that included this tier like the "Full Enchilada!" We love this set, and hope you do, too!
-Summer Party! (This one is on me for not getting it out before my hiatus! ^^; ) It'll be an end-of-summer party this year! Stay tuned for updates around this!

Completed Updates
-Getting Kickstarter Custom Badges out! You can see these on your profiles under "Custom Title." We're caught up with all of the currently submitted surveys If you backed the Kickstarter campaign and didn't get your badge, or haven't yet filled out the survey to receive yours, please check your Kickstarter messages!

-Typo fixes and image fixes! We're doing these as we go, so if you see any broken images or typos, please post in the Bug Reports subforum under the Help Desk forum topic!

-Our FAQ page is updated! Its link is located at the bottom of page.

We'll continuing to update things and get all the KS rewards sent out! We also have a few things we're working on, so we'll give you a small taste of what down the road.

Upcoming Updates
-Backer Username Color! Similar to the Donor color, this one will color your username to show that you helped Origins Tree during the Kickstarter!

-A SUMMER EVENT! (I am the event planner, after all.) This will be a fun summer party, similar to the Spring Jubilee! It will take place around the weekend of June 22nd, so be on the lookout for that! Don't forget to bring your beach attire!
