Things where really busy today for me. Got roped into doing something for a family member luckily the last of it should be completing itself soon. Plus working on one of my class assignments. Once I get a good banner done I'll post it.

I've been pretty busy with work lately, so haven't been on much. (And if I am, I'm usually playing a game with friends.) Life's going well, though. I've been trying to draw daily to bring my skill back up to snuff, and also playing piano daily. Mostly me just trying to get into good habits.

No pets, unfortunately. Eventually they stop buzzing or just leave, so it's not too much of a deal.

I wish I had the patience to keep learning piano! I was in lessons for years but I fell out of the habit of practicing so then I just quit. I don't want to sit there and learn notes and scales, I want to magically know how to play all my favorite songs - sounds reasonable, right? xD

I'm trying to read and stay hydrated this summer, along with having fun! I'm interested in getting into modern calligraphy, so I'm going to try and do a quote every few days. I really want those expensive brush tip markers but they're just so... expensive. *sniffles*

Also I just painted my toenails... haven't done that in awhile. But I wanna have pretty feet for when I go barefoot and wear sandals.

PFT I'm the same way with music lol. I have a guitar that I bought years ago, and I haven't even touched it because how do. I was pretty ok at the harp once... but alas. I stopped playing. </3

Ahhh calligraphy is so much fun! That's awesome! And yeah, I also want those markers but... money. <_< Apparently there are cheaper versions out there but I've never seen them.

I know the feeling, Ash!! I've been out of true practice for a year or two. Been playing for almost 17 years now. I can sight read just about anything, but perfecting a song takes HOURS!! I'd love to compose something. Really need to work on that.

Well, saying I play guitar would be a bit of a stretch. xD My ex, who played bass and had a million of them, convinced me to buy this guitar because it looks like a shark... and I tried learning for about maybe... 10 hours total? And haven't picked it up since. xD If I can find it, I wouldn't even know how to start. <_<
I want to get back into playing harp, though... I always really liked it, and I was ok at it when I actually practiced.

Harp? That sounds so cool! You meet a lot of people who can play a song or two on the piano, but rarely a harp!

Mmm, sight reading always gets me haha. I gave up piano for now but I've played the flute for two years now. I really enjoy it.

Haha yeah I can't read music at all. Like, honestly, I would have to look up the notes and write them down a different way... I play music with muscle memory instead. Memorize a song and then I can play it fine! Ask me to read the notes? Pffft yeah no. I legit can't. It doesn't work with my brain for some reason.

I guess, I've been wanting to do banners again for awhile but did not have any real excuse/reason to do them till now. I use to do that quite a bit it the past but miss doing it. I could adjust one of my old event (some will know what I'm talking about) to work on here but afraid too, as the revamd might mess it up so waiting on that first.

Sorry for not replying sooner! Yesterday was a shit show for me... I had to deal with an gruesome end to a friendship the day before, and it continued into yesterday, and then I was forced outside *hiss* to go to lunch with a different "friend" who then refused to leave my home even when my cousin dropped by unannounced and dragged me into hanging curtains with her while my guest watched us suffer. And we had fish for lunch and I think it was going bad because I felt so sick and awful... and then I slept for like 7 hours. <_<

Anyways, rant aside... xD How are you guys doing today?

Dragongirl; there's always a reason to do banners! Even if it's just for the fun of it.

For me, I like to do it for events and stuff. However with the collapse of, another site and the status of a replacement, up in the air (it's an idiom for none USA people). No one's really asked me to do any or has I seen any reason to drop a banner in like I did the other day. I use to do them more in the past but, maybe later I'll find a reason too. Might have one If I can just get time to finish a conversion for doing one of my events on Aywas. Depending on if things pick up here after the revamp I might consider doing another conversion if possible and doing the events on here too. It seems plausible but we need more people first. I know a few people miss the event(s) I'm hinting at.

Ah that makes sense. Hopefully there will be more people here soon, and you can make them again! I just want these forums to be active!
I think a lot of people may have forgotten about this place since it's been stagnant for a while now, but I'm hoping too that the revamp will make everyone come back and catch a few new eyes.

I don't mind chatting, I haven't been checking this site much because it's been so inactive haha *guilty* Anyways, I can't wait for this site to start adopting out pets again. I wish I could have gotten the Halloween skins that were in the startup event but I didn't have any money towards extra stuff at that time. Maybe they'll be out again later on or someone who did get the skins will set some bred creatures up for sale. I dunno, a girl can hope

Welcome Welcome! Honestly I didn't even look at this site for months for the same reason... when it's inactive and you get distracted it's hard to actually remind yourself to log on. xD But that's why I figured a little incentive might help get the ball rolling, at least until the site updates. :3
And I feel ya man. I was blessed with extra cash at that time and got to donate, and I'm very thankful. If it's possible to breed out those pets then I'm sure everyone will help out with getting them around the site! ♥

Aww dang Loli I'm sorry you had a tough day! I went through something like that about two months ago, the not-so-peaceful ending to a relationship.

Can't wait for the site to revamp! There isn't much to do as of now.
