I have no idea what my wordcount is for today, but I did manage to write a fight scene I don't hate. I'm pretty proud of that.

i wrote 3315 words today, so now i'm up to 43350 total. it's getting there.

Bragger here, who just crossed 50k
Even if it sounds fast, it is still a day later than in 2019, and I see so many people that crossed 50k like in their first 3 days or so o.O

still writing on and even might finish the first sequel of my new series and start the next before November is over, need to use the flow as long as it lasts that is the thing I love about NaNoWriMo - it somehow lets me write more than in the rest of the year. Perhaps I should try Nano Camp and see if it does the same to me (but I doubt it, cus I cant do that to the people around me more than one month a year lol. My roommate has such hard times then, cus its not allowed to talk to me most of the time haha)

weee~ congrats everyone! i'm working towards 45K myself. (i'm at 44855 right now)

i also set goals for myself, and I've done this since i first started - i want to get to the word count before or on thanksgiving. in the past, we've traveled and gone places on Turkey Day, but this year is weird, obviously. but - it's still my first goal for myself. my next goal - because i know myself - is to write "end" (or ~fini~ in my case) by the 30th. otherwise, i know i just won't finish it. the year i was a rebel (2017), i only wrote 8,340 words, but i ended up finishing my longest written WIP (that i started in mmmpfff-mmmpfff....) yeah. (i say longest written WIP, because i also have a longest fabric WIP, a t-shirt quilt, that i started a few years before mmmpfff-mmmpfff; and i have a longest crochet WIP, but that's only been since 2018.)

anyway, yeah, i know my writing habits.

lol, that is so cool, CONGRATS!!
I wrote on yesterday and finished the book! Rough version only though of course lol. Will do a rough review on the weekend to be able to have a first testreader start reading it (my roommate xD) and postpone the real review until December, so I can already start on the second sequel. The good experience with publishing my trilogy when all 3 sequels were already written has me do it that way again. Tho perhaps I publish when two are ready, but will see how it goes xD
For now I am happy that I wrote a book in about 2,5 months, that was something I wanted to try out. Of course still not having a job did help that :p

And to everyone else on the milestones too! Lots of days left to make it!

I just crossed 25k this morning and am rather proud of myself.
I can type about 500 words an hour Sooo I should finish the 50k right down to the wire.

i started out slow, but ended up with 2225 words for today, making my total 48325 words! i think i might finish tomorrow - word count and story.

I hit 20k a few days ago, been writing less as the month progresses. due to many other things, kind of frustrating. :L

I gave my NaNo-every-day-upate-badge a miss and reviewed the book the last three days, so I could give it to my alpha-test-reader xD (btw. if anyone is interested in doing a GERMAN test reading and can do that with a word document or pdf within about 2 weeks, let me know^^ - the book has about 400 pages and is a mix of scifi-crime-cosmicwitchcraft-timetravel-stuff )

I plan to start on sequel 2 tomorrow and get back into NaNoWriMo, but by now I haven't found the right idea to start it lol... I might just jump in, just to write. Can still change it laters^^

Can I do that after Nano is done? I don't need a lot of time for reading, usually.
Word doc would work best with google docs (don't have any of the usual office or pdf suspects installed)
