Despite the danger of sharp claws, there is a significant part of me that just wants to bury my face in all that floof, trys
I am super pleased with my progress today! Haven't felt my best today, so I thought I would be super unproductive, but then I decided to join the meeting on the Norwegian NaNo Discord, and got into the flow. Wrote so much more than I thought I would, and passed 25k! Halfway point, wohoo!

we would love to use the floof as a soft pillow! but Rocky still doesn't like pets. he lets hubby pet him when he's eating, and sometimes he left me pet him too. mostly he baps hands. and he baps the kittens.

Such cute floofs! I do love cats, but I have grown to dislike owning cats. It's mostly the litter box... and our youngest cat (who is a little over a year old) is going through a jerk phase. Our older kitty is heading into "end of life" territory. We were really afraid last week that we would have to make the call to let him go, thank goodness he "only" had a UTI that was really bringing him down. But the vet said the UTIs would become more frequent. But this is why we got another cat, to soften the blow when Scooter passes (my husband has had him since he found him on the street as a kitten). I'm rather hopeful that Ziggy will chill out in time and become a sweet, cuddly boy again! When I got him from the shelter (it was even my idea to get another cat omg) he came right out into my arms, laid on my chest and just about licked my face raw he was kissing me so much. He used to come snuggle us, but he really doesn't do that anymore, the little turd!
Anyway, I am totally rambling!

Thanks trystan! Getting Scooter's UTI taken care of has helped a lot. He was initiating play with Ziggy today, something he's not done in a while. He was sleeping almost constantly except to eat and drink. We really thought he was on the verge of going, so we're rather relieved that's not the case. Ziggy is still a little stinker. (he let me pet him yesterday zomg! lol)

End of life for pets is hard. My kitty is still with me, although I expect to wake and find her gone.
If she is still with me tomorrow I am making her a chicken dinner. She is getting so skinny but is still eating and drinking.
She really likes the back of my writing chair and I have been forced to give it over.
I was feeling down about my word count at almost 17k but a friend today said, you are almost half way there. Which really perked me up. So I won't feel bad about it anymore.
Your Floofs are very cute. Do they like strangers? I might be tempted to cuddle with them.
