@trystan @Flederfalle @Aleah @Demyx , I'm Canadian and a bit of a hermit. It's only been 2020 that's really felt cruddy to me in recent years. At least right here all around me cruddy.

And man, it's weird in 2021 already too. The calendar store took off right after Christmas, instead of staying and running sales like they usually did.

We just had a wind storm here. I went out yesterday, decided to wear tights and a shorter dress so I wouldn't emulate a kite. That dress's skirt was pointing UP nearly as often as it was pointing down or sideways. I'm glad I had the tights.

@trystan , I bought more toys that day, and on Friday too. And I still didn't buy yarn, which would have been useful in letting me finish some doll patterns that I have. *shakes head*

I'm really happy to have Kali the Hairmazing Hairdorable doll and Marina the Nanana Surprise mermaid, though. The mermaid's beautiful and Kali looks so cheerful and has such wild shoes to look at.

I hate anxiety. Even in a situation where I KNOW I would have regretted making a different choice, I'm still torturing myself with "did I do the right thing".

I'm surprised I wanted Marina, @trystan. I already had one Nanana Surprise doll, and I usually don't like having more than one doll with the same face sculpt. But like you say, cute. And I really like their construction, and I've liked mermaids since I was a little kid.
