I like it when blankets are charged with static electricity. When the lights turn off, I play with the sparks until I fall asleep
It's not happened in a while though, probably because it's been so damp lately.

LOL I'm a bit sensitive to being zapped from the static. My brother's car does it to me often!

But taking your sweater off in the dark is also fun. As is waking a sleeping brother by touching him after scuffing across the carpet.

I've actually never successfully generated static by scuffing across the carpet. That always confused me since I read about people doing it in books sometimes.

There was a book I once had with fun things to do in it. One was bending water after scrubbing a brush over wooly fabric. Playing with static electricity is fun

@Kiwiana I've been going through peri menopause, so it's been a little crazy. But I also was put onto AISH, which is income for disability, so I'm able to afford food that I can eat without being sick now. What have I done? Played with dolls, weirded people out, played video games, RPed a lot... I think there was some useful stuff in there too. How about you?

Ugh menopause, I really hated that time, hopefully done with it by now Guess the biggest news in my life are being jobless since almost a year and not finding a new job. Thanks to Corona at least I am receiving money from the job center 3 months longer, so I have until end of August before I need to jump off a balcony resp. plan the time until then lol At least I used the time to finish and publish my new book. That would have probably taken longer otherwise^^

@Kiwiana Aww. I miss being able to write. I used to chuck the stories out right and left, now I can barely RP anymore.

What sort of job are you looking for?

I wanted to do Marketing, especially social media, webdesign etc. cus I liked that most during my last job, but by now I also apply for quality management (since I am a trained auditor and was qm-representative for many years) or office management (since foreign language secretary is what I originally learned). Getting nothing but denials and whatever beautiful words they use, I am pretty sure it is because of my age

@Kiwiana Awww, the age thing. That happened to my brother. He got laid off, but no one else wanted to hire him because he was in his sixties.

@FireLilly @trystan Yeah... sorry for vanishing for a bit. Been having a H of a period. I've had ones that lasted a month before, but I don't remember cramps that lasted a month before.

I just don't seem to be able to be socially correct and wear a mask, either. Every one I try messes me up in some way.

Complaining aside, anybody want to laugh at me? I bought at least 300 dollars CAN this week on dolls.
