i'm still hanging in there.

I had a bad dream last night. I've got a sniffle that's a little different from my usual one, and I dreamed that I was showing flu-like symptoms, and my mother wouldn't let me put on a mask. I'm not afraid of getting sick, but I'm scared to death of having it and not knowing and getting someone else sick, because I can't wear a mask.

i certainly don't want to get this virus either, it kinda scares the crap out of me. but (aside from the fact we'd probably have to turn off the AC if someone in the house got it) if i were to get this thing, hubby is not the kind of take-control of things person. he'd order out every night, and younger daughter would not be happy at all - she still insists her dad hates her, and tbh, he forgets sometimes that he has to plan dinner for her too, if it's just the two of them. a few years ago when i would work Sunday nights, he'd order a pizza every single week. erm, younger daughter is now 19... also he'd have to do everything else, like shopping as well. and i have no idea how that would turn out. so, the house would sorta fall apart. i'm not allowed to get this thing. :O

Awww. I don't live with anyone else, but that might mean that I might starve, because if I was sick I couldn't order in (not the mention the fact that noplace I can eat from is in my order in range), and I couldn't shop, and... yeah.

But I don't tend to really show it when I'm sick. Even when I'm flu feverish and tripping out, sometimes. So yeah. The sniffle scares me, because I don't want to be getting anyone else sick.

not so much asymptomatic, but i don't let it show that i'm sick, unless it can't be helped and my symptoms are obvious. i also tend to get either allergies or a common cold that last only a few days.

Ahhhh. Yeah, colds don't often happen for me, or don't show, but allergies give me a mildly runny nose most days of my life. I think it's because my eyes are watering.

I just ate a huge hunk of cheese. I hope I don't regret it.

Tam - my allergies have gotten much more under control in the last year or two.... and i didn't do anything, which is the nice part about that!

@Aleah I'm okayish. Just got over a hell of a period, but that's over for now. Just the heat and a bit of a tummy ache bugging me now. So I'm fine so long as I remember not to look out the window without sunglasses on. How're you doing?

sounds about right. they do say your body changes every 7 or so years, so i think i'm overdue!

Yes, they say that's how long it takes for all our cells to be replaced. I just wish the brain cells would've taken some memories with them. LOL

LOL! i have what i like to call Swiss Cheese Memory™ - my memory has lotsa little holes in it.

So does mine, but the ones I object to are still there. *shakes head* And sometimes my memory is like Teflon, or like a computer where you gotta have the hashtag to get the file. o_O

I'm rereading an old Christian comic book series and enjoying it again. Bit obsessed with the differences in art on different shows and books right now (I think I may have high functioning autism). Also watching the Ninja Turtles series where they tried adding a girl turtle character. LOL So much cheese.

i'm watching the Twilight Zone, i'm in about the middle of season 3 of the original 60s show. i plan on watching all the iterations of them, and there's four!

Do you remember the episode on 'Twilight Zone' or 'Outer Limits' where this woman and boy were mean to an old man, and kicked him out of their car, and then picked a little kid up on the way back and found out the hard way it was the same person?
