We go to Michael's, Jo-Ann, Hobby Lobby, and AC Moore. I actually like the AC Moore selection better, and their yarn sales rock.

I've never heard of AC Moore. Is that local?

It may be. I'm not actually sure. I've always seen them but most of the places I've been are in the south so it's possible.

We have a place about a half hour from me that's privately owned, called Ben Franklin crafts. It's a nice store.

We actually used to have a Ben Franklin but the last one closed like 10 years ago. They used to have great stuff at super great prices!

We still have just the one. It's about a 30 minute drive for me, so I don't get there very often

That's where we used to buy all the crafts for my school projects. I honestly kind of miss it

Yeah, me too. There used to be one really close to me. I miss it a lot.

OH craft stores craft stores. I love you all. My wallet loves you less. Though still what I spend at michaels/joannes is insiginificant compared to what I spend on tickets to things. Alas live theater is not a cheap pleasure.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone has a great week, whether you're working or doing other things. How was everyone's weekend?

My weekend was busy. Lots of things to do and plan! In other news, I did run off with my mom's sewing machine to finish some bags. So yay for that!

What kind of bags did you make?

Just handy bags for holding a couple of things that gather more cat hair than the floor. I've had them wrapped in towels, but bags are a better option.

I love to sew but it's been years . . .

I can do it by hand and made one of the bags that way, but it took me almost an hour cause they're drawstring so I had to add the string area. Hopefully I can remember how to use her machine.

I don't know if I could even remember how to use my own machine lol

Luckily mom has the instruction booklet in the case so that's a small victory!

Also. Loving the candy corn look!
