This is awesome star! I played viola when in was in grade school and middle school!

Just popping in to say hello I am doing physical therapy two days a week and it is kicking my butt! Also kind of excited because we are getting a new roof, and our insurance is covering it from hail damage last August. This was badly needed!!!

Today is my youngest's 22nd birthday. I feel so old!!! I am going to be 59 in a few weeks (June 22)), I can't believe how time has flown. Tomorrow we're all going for lunch for Nick's birthday to a place called Bel Aire Cantina for tacos and margaritas to celebrate him turning 22. I am so looking forward to seeing all my kids

I saw my doctor yesterday for my chest pain, which hasn't gone away for months. He told me I was depressed and that's what was causing my pain. I think I need to find a new doctor!!!

Physical therapy sucks! But hopefully it works and is worth it in the end.

You know, it's always a little odd when I come across people older than me online. It shouldn't be, because 20 years ago when I started online everyone was older than me, and it's not like people just stop being interested in things once they hit a certain age, but it seems like either older people don't mention their age or aren't as visible in online spaces for some reason (time, maybe?)

Hm, yes, maybe a new doctor is in order. You'd think that chest pain would be something they'd get on right away. I get chest pain a lot, but it's due to a hiatus hernia, so it's not concerning. Annoying and uncomfortable, but the pain level isn't even that high. But chest pain without a diagnosed issue? Yeah that's weird that the doctor isn't sending you for half a million tests.

Thanks Nic!! I've had a stress test and echocardiogram and they didn't show anything. This may be from hiatal hernia for me too, I was diagnosed with it years ago.

Yeah, my dad has one, too, and he also gets chest pain. For both of us, it feels like a band tightening around the chest. I find that if I take something for acid reflux (even if I don't feel like I have heartburn), it lessens. Maybe try it and see if it helps?

I do take 40 mg. of Prilosec every day, but this has been going on for months. It feels like a rock behind my breastbone . . .

Hm. Is your bed flat, or tilted? I get that kind of feeling when I sleep on a flat bed, so I have the head of my bed raised about 4 inches.

(Also: Thank you for the gift!!! I was just thinking yesterday about how I wanted the mini husky because it's so cute! LOL)

You're welcome! And I sleep on my couch, cuz it's just more comfortable for me. Maybe I should try another pillow.

Either that or get a couple pieces of 4x4 and stick 'em under the legs of your couch at one end. That's what my dad does for me when I visit.

I'm good! I discovered a new favorite paranormal show LOL It's called Ghost Brothers and literally opens like this:

Intro narration: "There's a new team of paranormal investigators. Here to answer two questions about ghost hunting: are ghosts for real? And..."
Team member: "Why is everybody white?!"

How was your son's birthday?

It was really nice but short. Comedy of errors LOL. I have two boys Nick and Kyle and they live with their dad. Well Nick (the 22 y/o) got drunk for his birthday and left his car at the bar. Kyle was going to take him to get his car, but then discovered he had thrown out his last pair of contact lenses. So I had to take Nick to get his car, take Kyle with me for lunch cuz he couldn't drive, then take him to WalMart after lunch for an eye exam so he could get more contact lenses. It was all kind of rushed, but it was still nice.

What station is Ghost brothers on?

That was a little bit of an adventure, huh? LOL

It only had 2 seasons, the first was on Destination America and the second was on TLC

Me too! Although my roommate does the cooking because she loves to cook. And she's good at it

Lucky! I don't like to cook, so when I do, I make huge batches and freeze it in individual containers. So I only cook a couple times a month LOL

I've had friends who did that. Like make a huge batch of sauce for spaghetti and make lasagna with some of it.
