BOTH! Utah Raptor babies would have sooooooooo freaking cute, but the birds are pretty varied, too. The little newborns are so ugly, they're cute, but the adults. *.* Bright eyes, sharp claws, and the muzzles/beaks of each option.... >.> I'm an easy one to please. Cute/pretty and dangerous pretty much fits the bill/beak (hur-hur-hur), and if there's feathers involved, I'm pleased as punch.

I adore the idea of tiny hummingbird sized dragons! Just imagine a tiny little friend flapping around cutely and occasionally starting a small fire!

SHARKS! :O They are my favourite animal other than Unicorns. A rainbow unishark would be the best thing ever. I have yet to find a pet site with sharks so... yeah. sharks. xD There are so many kinds, too! Whale sharks are beautiful, nurse sharks are adorable... so many options. ;w;
Unfortunately I know my answer will be unpopular, so to be realistic, I must also add winged cats. Cats are so amazing and I want all of them. Add in wings or any other fantasy elements and I'm sold.

Kelpie/Hippocampus aka mermaid horses. Ooh, ooh, mermaid unicorns too?

Dragons are fantastic, but.... raptors. I'm absolutely in love with them, and they can be done kind of like dragons... in a variety of styles and ways that can cover the beautiful to the absolutely ADORABLE!
I'm honestly curious as to whether you're talking about actual raptors or dromaeosaurs here, since both of those can fit that description.

). As far as dinosaurs go, I think realistically reconstructed raptors have an almost draconic, mythical creaturey look to them. They're so sleek they make a jaguar look unwieldy. Rainbow utahraptor below!
