I like the idea of two sinks but your right, I mean, how often is it really nessicary? And I don't blame you, yeah, if you can just smooth/sand down the old paper edges and paint over it, that'd be the route I'd take. About 6 or more years ago, my ex and I remodeled my ex mother-in-law's bathroom and that was the worse part; removing 15 year old wall paper. Never. Again. Nothnx haha.

That is the nice thing about contact paper, it being the much cheaper option and you can totally change it out easier too if you feel like it. You'll have to keep us updated as you go along.

Yayyy. It looks great. Honestly, with the walls and everything at least in the picture, the blue isn't as noticeable. I think black will look really good too especially with the tub.

Once you get all of that done and squared away, were you going to go with the same type of flooring you had before to finish everything off? Or trying something different?

Flooring can definitely be expensive. That'll look really nice though, with it all matching. And for sure, you'd rather have a little more than needed than not enough because that would be my luck as well. I'd pick something out and then need more it be discontinued or something like that.

Niiicee. Well, yeah, hopefully you can get done what you need to in like a day or so and then spend the rest of the time resting or just doing things you enjoy. Where I'm at, looks like they are calling for it to be mostly cloudy next week and on the cooler side but only one day of rain/storms.

It's always rewarding to get stuff done. Rest is nice of course but yay for doing the things!

I understand the struggle of dog hair all too well. It's a bit ridiculous. Thankfully, the only places that are carpeted in the house are our bedrooms. The dogs don't go in the kids rooms really because they always have their doors shut so things don't get eaten or dragged outside but our bedroom is another story. Mostly though, the hair just collects itself into tumble weeds on the hard wood and tile floors and resides at the edges of the walls in between vacuumings.

A new layout of furniture can definitely be refreshing.

My week was okay. Kiddo had a few bad days in the middle of the week but the weekend went pretty well.

Yeah, especially if you have pets, carpet is the worst.

We have hardwood and I love/hate it. It's pretty but scratches easily with the doggos. If we ever redo it we'll probably go with faux wood vinyl planks too just because they are so much more durable.

Pets can be such jerks sometimes. Sir was like that when we first moved into the house we're in now. He would do all the gross things in our bedroom on the carpet. We finally got both him and Lady where if they absolutely can't hold it during the day while we are at work and the doggy door is closed, they'll do their business downstairs on the linoleum tile which is so much easier to clean and no in anyone's way or somewhere where they'll step in it and drag it all throughout the house. However, there are couches down there and I had to throw away a seat cushion because Sir apparently has a vendetta against groundhogs. He's killed 4 so far and the last one he decided to bring inside downstairs, on the couch, and then open it up on the couch to put it mildly. It was so gross. Groundhogs guts everywhere. Bugh.

I think it's their size and weight really that adds the the scratched. When you have a 75 pound dog and 110 pound dog getting zooming in the livingroom lol That's mostly where it's gettin scratched up. And neither one of them really behave when it's time to trim their nails so sometimes they grow a little longer than is ideal.

Yeah, it was not my favorite day lol

They are our big babies and we tolerate a lot of their BS because they are after all, our fur babies haha. I mean, we of course try to train but they are two very stubborn breads.
