Ahh I love pitties! I mean, I'm still scared of them, because dogs, but they're so cute and friendly! My brother has a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She's little, but hefty, and a leaner, too. She nearly knocks over full grown adults LOL I Like American Staffordshires best, tho.
I'm definitely more of a cat person, too. I've had two cats that were exclusively mine, but right now I'm cat-less. My roomie has a cat, tho, so I still get the purry cuddles in.

I got bit when I was younger as well, and in the face close to my eye! Even after that I'm still not scared of pretty much any dog. I have 2 Jack Russel Terriers, they are sisters from the same litter, and couldn't be much different than each other. I like cats too, but my mom is "allergic" (it's what she says, but I don't think she is, she just doesn't like them) so I can't have one. I had one when I was younger that had to stay in the garage. The only reason I got her is because someone dropped her off (we lived way out in the country) and she was pregnant. I got to keep her until her babies were old enough to do stuff on their own. We then took momma and all her babies to a big farm (we knew the people) and they got to be barn cats all together.

The dog we had when I was a teen was a Jack Russell mix. (Mixed with Maltese, Poodle, and Springer Spaniel) He was okay, but we had to give him away to a woman with no kids because he tried, twice, to bite my nephew when he was a baby. My parents now have a Border Collie mix (dunno with what, she was a stray) who is the sweetest girl ever. Absolute angel, I love her so much.
Aw that's sweet! I would love to care for a momma and babies. Kittens are so cute LOL My roomie's cat was 11 weeks when we got her, she was so tiny and cute. Now she's fat and loud LOL

Yeah, my 2 are mixes with prolly several things, and have never once offered to nip or bite at anyone (unless playing... and that's just usually with each other). Any time my hand or finger or anything goes in their mouth they may bite down a little, but soon as they feel our skin they immediately try to get whatever it is out of their mouth either by moving or using their tongue or whatever. Even tho they are hyper (at times and a little loony), they are actually extremely sweet girls.
We didn't have them for long, as I said pretty much as soon as they opened their eyes my mom was like they are gone! so yeah. Even my 2 dogs rarely are loud... unless outside on the porch. The one will only bark inside IF you tell her to. The other one only barks if she hears something (like knocking on the door or a car door that's close) or someone coming in etc...

Yeah ours never tried to bite or anything, but he was super spoiled. My mom totally doted on him, then when my sister and her baby moved in for a few months, my mom's attention was on the baby and he got jealous. First time he snapped at my nephew he didn't make contact, but the second time he left a mark above my nephew's eye, so that was pretty much when we knew both that it wasn't a one-off thing and that it was gonna get worse. So we found and older woman (the mother of a woman my sister worked with) who didn't have kids or grandkids and gave him to her.
Man, ours barked at everything. He was super territorial so if he could see or hear or smell something that wasn't one of us, he would bark at it. Considering we had 3 neighbors with dogs, it was super fun /sarcasm LOL
Aw, that's not very long at all! Too bad LOL

So I spent all day today sitting in the living room with my roomie's cat. Woke up to a message from my roomie asking me to look in on the cat because she wouldn't come out from under the couch. IDK what happened last night, but the cat spent 75% of the day completely freaked out, jumpy and twitchy, and half of that hiding under the couch. When she did come out, she stared at the sliding glass door like it was gonna bite her.
We suspect that someone tried to break in again and that freaked her out. At least she wasn't sick tho. Roomie was nervous about that because she was taking a bouquet of flowers that her boyfriend gave her out of her room and dropped the lily and got pollen on the carpet. (Of all the flowers for her to drop, it had to be the one that could potentially kill the cat)

She definitely has to teach her boyfriend to consider the cat when gifting things
What do you mean, tried to break in again? Did that happen already?

Yeah, several months ago one of my roomies accidentally left the back door unlocked (sliding door, it was locked but not latched, so it looked locked, but if you pulled on it, it'd open) and between midnight when I was downstairs to feed the cats and 12:15 when I went downstairs because I heard weird noises, someone had come in, stolen both my laptops (luckily one was dead and the other I'd only paid $20 for and the wifi had just stopped working, so I needed a new laptop anyway) and about $2 worth of pennies (I keep my penny collection in old prescription pill bottles, and they grabbed the biggest one)
Since then I've been SUPER careful about making sure the doors are locked. We now use both locks on the sliding door (the latch and the safety lock) and I check it every night before I go to bed (ironically I've always checked it every night, the night someone came in was literally the only night I decided I didn't actually need to check it)

Wow Nic, that's super scary! I'm glad you didn't lose anything valuable, but the loss of sense of safety is huge!! *hugs*

Thanks Yeah it definitely took a while for the anxiety over it to go away. It's all good now, it was months ago. October, I think? It's not something that worries me anymore, but I do still make sure to check the door every night LOL

I'm not too bad. Tired tho, I haven't been sleeping well lately (just had my sertraline dosage upped, which always screws with my sleep)
You?
I love your FA colors, BTW. Reminds me of strawberry creme chocolates

Sorry to hear you're so tired. I'm on 100 mg. of Sertraline myself, I've also been on Ambien for just as long, because I can't sleep at all with Sertraline.
And thanks! This is one of my favorite avatars I love all the pastel colors you used on yours!
I'm doing pretty well, except for the fact that I have a really bad sore in my mouth. I went to the dentist today, and he strongly urged me to not get my dental work done because it was so bad. Outside from that, I've got nothing going on. I'm really pretty bored LOL

I'm only on 50 mg, just upped from 25, but if my sleep doesn't even out by the next time I see my doctor in 2 weeks, I'm gonna have to ask for something to help me sleep. Last time I was on sertraline, I was taking trazodone to help me sleep, but then it started giving me HARDCORE restless legs, to the point of pain, so that's a nope now.
Thanks! Generally I'm not a huge fan of pastels, and definitely not pink, but I loved her so much after I made her for weezee's contest that I just had to use her LOL
Oh no! That doesn't sound fun at all

I'm sorry you're having so much trouble sleeping. Sertraline is a good med, but it's pretty activating. I can't take Trazodone, it gives me terrible nightmares.

Yeah, agreed. Tho apparently most people find it has a sedative effect, which boggles my mind LOL
I'm like that with clonazepam. I was on it for a couple years and didn't realize that my super vivid dreams were tied to that, because I've had vivid dreams off and on my whole life. But I finally looked it up when it got so bad that I'd try to stay up all night and then literally start crying when I couldn't stay awake any longer. Needless to say, I'm never going back on clonazepam LOL
