Tenth, slotted into the long and largely unknown time period between "Journey's End" and "The End of Time". I'm making sure ya boi gets a little much-needed therapy.

It's a little later than we usually get April snows, and yesterday it snowed all day, but everything MELTED before it even hit the pavement. Or something. The pavement never even got damp.
...And the neighbour has the shrill giggles going. Incessantly.

And today we've had hours of white out blizzard.
It's melting on the streets, but I can see it's staying on the grass and trees (staying on the trees means it's wet snow. Bleh). Also just saw three fire trucks go past. Man, I can barely see the bridges through the snow.
@trystan , that neighbour seems to be afraid of silence. Though with all the traffic noise we get... But she stops making noise if I'm doing it. Her new thing is getting air freshener into the radiator. Glah. Three days in a row now, thankfully less today.

well that blizzard doesn't sound like fun.
eh, neighbors will have their quirks, that's for sure.

It was weird. And then today for some reason the heat in the apartment soared. o_O
And the neighbour sounded like she was playing with a toy piano... and singing even more out of tune than usual. But despite heat and strange noises, I got a little shoe made for my landlady's old baby doll (to go with the one I made yesterday), and I made a top for my old jointed doll (she's not a BJD, she's better).

Sewed a doll together today, and then put eyes on two. Now I'm sitting here in a state of shock from the effort. I can crochet, but those other parts...!

That sounds like fun Tam, except for the cross-eyed parts.
A friend of mine used to tell me I sang with more enthusiasm than melody.
And there is a joke in there somewhere about a neigh-bor, but I can't come up with it right now. The mane thing is they aren't hoofing it on your ceiling and making hay where you least expect.

Tam - there's a lot of fiddly parts when crocheting dolls.... as well as crocheting other things too (like the heels of socks!)
LOL Yeladim!!

trystan
Tam - actually, yes. i make short row heels, where you go from (in my case) 24 stitches down to 12, and then increase and shape back up to 24 stitches to make the heel. and i finally figured out the best way to do it! *woot!*

Having another one of those lovely "why am I alive" moments. Mother's Day is next week. Considering what happened on my last birthday (jack shit), I'm fully expecting it to be completely forgotten. Shockingly, I feel like shit as a result, but I don't dare talk to anyone about it because either I'm being horribly unfair or setting them up for a massive guilt trip.

trystan
ugh i'm sorry Demyx {{hugs}}
come on over to my house, i'm making Mother's Day dinner - hubby, my younger daughter, and my mom will be here too
