I love my gender, but there was much less "stuff" to worry about when I was young. We live is some of the most confusing times. Makes me wonder why we keep complicating everything so much.

Honestly, I never cared for the one I was assigned anyway, and no matter how interesting the times are, at least I live in times when I can simply set it aside and go on without one.

i'm perfectly comfortable with my gender, and am glad i was raised by parents that let me sew, cook, and do crafts; and do woodworking, learn about my car, how to repair toilets and bathtub spigots, and build catio doors with my older daughter.
I'm the handy one around the house, hubby.... not so much

I wasn't "handy" until we got a house. I don't do plumbing, except for the easy stuff, or anything that can burn down the house. But most stuff is really easy. Painting is oddly relaxing. Applying the masking tape though, not so much.

Sorry for vanishing. Turns out summer is crazy busy when one works in markets. And man is it hot. I long bitterly for the weather of 20 years ago, when the summer high was 22C.
trystan

hey, it happens.
22C is nice..... we're supposed to have a heatwave, starting tomorrow, with the high of 91F/32.7C. the temp stays up there.., with a few days - like Wednesday and Saturday - where it'll be like 97F/3C. weather.com suggests a few days in the upper 80sF for next week, but then right back to the 90sF. and it'll most likely be humid too. ick.

@trystan
WE are getting thirties and humid! And it's not normal for here. LOL I can remember when wearing a two ply hat was enough to protect my head from the sun, and now it seems to burn right through it. And right through my sunglasses, too.

Right now El Ninya isn't helping things. I just learned that it's hotter in England than it is here. We're just brushing the thirties C, but they're IN it.

@trystan
I'm grateful to report that it's back to normal summer heat here. Which means I'm only mildly heat struck instead of cooked and swelling slightly. o.O
