it's configured differently, and there's a few less surfaces to display things, AND part of my plan for this house it to not have too many cluttered surfaces. we also have less space for storage, so if it's still in a box in a few months, I'll reassess the items in the boxes. we'll see how well that goes.

So anyway my wife's ex has been working particularly hard to destroy her life lately up to and including flipping the abuse narrative, alienating as many of her friends as possible, and getting her banned from her favorite hobby, and I haven't really been able to do one single fucking thing except support my wife and silently rage about it, and no it has not escaped my attention that this whole deal started very, very close to the same time my wife transitioned, but anyway.

hello. i moved house this past weekend! we moved across the state from one end of PA to the other O_o
we moved out on Thursday to head across the state, and then sold the old house friday at like 1, after a last minute hiccup with the warning that the buyer might walk at the last minute (yikes!) but we got that smoothed out after agreeing on a monetary amount. and then we bought the new one at like 5 friday. we had a transporter bring the cats to us! it's been a crazy week, that's for sure!
